It has been quite some time since I have written a blog....or anything at all for that matter. 2012 brought a certain discouragement for me that I just couldn't seem to shake for the longest time. It was a terrible year for me personally as well as politically. There is no need to recall all of the highs and lows we went through as a nation but there is need for me to write this blog on the 3rd day of the new year. You see, while despairing in a sense of hopelessness for this country, a wise woman and inspirational patriot e-mailed me with some words of encouragement that fell upon an eager heart just waiting to be stirred. I'm glad she convinced me to perservere and not give up on doing the right thing in a time where doing the right thing is so very needed. I sincerely hope you like this one Michelle :) This one's for you!
One of the things mentioned in those e-mails was a speech given by Winston Churchill that was put together by him as he watched the bombing of Great Britain. That speech turned out to be one of his most influential speeches...."Never give up. Never give in." A short speech, yes, but the impact was full of infinite hope. Some of the greatest speeches really do come from the heart *not a teleprompter.* It made me think about some of those historical speeches that really did move people. That train-of-thought led me to a speech that was given on May 27, 1999 in front of a House subcommittee in Washington D.C.
It can be one heck of a struggle to try and figure out what to write about after a year hiatus or even where to start! I just kept asking myself 'how do I sum up such a disastrous year?' There is so much to cover and yet this speech made in 1999 says it all and rings true today. It covers most everything I would have said and with more elegance and grace than I could possibly expel. It was made by Darrell Scott of Littleton, Colorado. This speech was given a little over a month after his daughter Rachel was killed in the Columbine shooting on April 20th that same year.
"Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and
women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my
wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the
other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.
"The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the
field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club
Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be
found in Cain's heart.
"In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers
began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a
hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because
I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughter's death.
Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had
anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest opponent.
I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy -- it was a spiritual
event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame
lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the
accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings
best.
Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage,
You've outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question "Why?"
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!
"Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we
refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil,
prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present
within our educational systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major
colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened
to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to
hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs --
politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to
pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private
liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been
stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months
planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.
"As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends
murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or
politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and
around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer
was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students
be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for
legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you
who would point your finger at the NRA -- I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to
examine your own heart before casting the first stone!
My daughter's death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not
allow that to happen!"
- Darrell Scott
There is a lot of talk of how to cure evil right now from the very same people who produce evil every single day. The Bible tells us that we all fall short and not ONE is worthy of the kingdom of God. The problem does not lie in guns or weaponry but rather the hardness of mans own heart and his desperate need for a savior. When a tragedy like the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting occurs people are quick to try to find a solution to end this senseless violence when the solution is being pushed out of our schools and our public lives slowly but surely by an expanding Godless people who elect such hollow, unbelieving politicians to lord over us. While my heart and prayers go out to all families who have lost a child or a loved one I will not give up on fighting the real war being waged here...the one, as so adequately stated by Mr.Scott, is not one of flesh and blood but rather a spiritual warfare. The fight cannot be lost for those of us who have the hope of Heaven but it is one we cannot sit out on here on earth and I refuse to be part of the fatal surrender of America's hope.
I am honored to ring in the first blog of the new year by sharing perhaps the most influential speech of modern day. So I'll be here...a 23 year old wife and mother with no prominent name for herself but, for what it's worth, a motivated strength deriving from the Lord I serve. I will not be ashamed to honor the name of God or speak of the true liberty that can only be defined by the maker of the universe Himself. The standard of government should not come from corruptable and flawed beings but rather from an Almighty and perfect Savior. This was the vision our founding fathers carried with them while escaping tyranny across the Atlantic and it is the standard I will always subscribe to and fight for. As children of God we don't have to accept fighting evil with evil or getting caught up in diabolical snares. If we really were to apply God's word and let the light of the Lord shine through us then a better choice will always be just a heartbeat away and never too far.
I look forward to writing more this year and seeing what the Lord has in store for me and for us all because no matter who is President, Jesus is King. God bless.

The Susan G.Komen foundation alienates donors by pandering to abortionists
I'm always very careful about where I choose to donate. Choice is a luxury we have as Americans even though the government is trying to slowly, but surely, delegitimize it. I have come to expect the illusion of choice from the government but I refuse to accept it from a private, charity organization operating under the guise of a specific cause all while funding the horrors of another. The Susan G. Komen foundation has been around for several decades now and has done a lot of good things for breast cancer medical developments, raising breast cancer awareness and helping breast cancer survivors get the care they need. However, even with all of the pure and just accomplishments of the foundation, I will have no problem tearing them to shreds in light of all that has been done over the last 24 hours.
I'm the kind of person that checks the list of ingredients on the back of food products at the grocery store before I buy them. Call me crazy but I actually want to know just what exactly is in the stuff I put into my body. Donating to charity works in the same way for me. I like to know exactly where my funds go and what they do with it. It is vital to do your homework before jumping into anything especially when we live in a digital world where our lifestyles have become so complex that we rarely get to sit down and reflect on anything else that goes beyond the hectic day-to-day dealings. We have time to donate to causes that sound good and have been around for a while but we don't have time to look into them and what they are actually doing in the here and now. The world has very much so changed since the Susan G. Komen foundation stepped onto the scene in 1982 with the noble promise of helping women struggling with breast cancer. When people think of "Susan G. Komen" pleasant connotations come to mind....but what do people think of when they hear "Planned Parenthood?"
When I think of Planned Parenthood I think of abortion. Abortion is what makes Planned Parenthood the powerhouse of federal funding and grants. Sure, you could try to make the argument that abortion isn't the only answer at Planned Parenthood when it comes to "family planning" but then that sentiment wouldn't even hold up when compared to Planned Parenthood's own statiscs. (a) In 2010, Planned Parenthood reports that adoption referalls were only given to 841 people...a number that pales in comparison to the 329,445 abortions that were performed that year . With 76% of their clients being reported as having incomes at or below 150% of the federal poverty level it is no stretch of the imagination to determine that this is an organization that has little to no problem getting taxpayer funds from a bloated, liberal government that is all too happy to help undermine traditional, family values and promote a skewed and calloused alternative.
Whether you find your politics leaning left, right or somewhere in between, there is no denying that abortion is a polarizing issue. You either see the wrong in it or you don't. I find it very interesting to sit back and watch some of the debates that float around over abortion. Social conservatives are being told to sit down, shut up and to not interfere with a "womans right to choose." That "choice" they always spout off about becomes very cut and dry while studying the very nature of an abortion procedure. For example, if you determine that "aborting" your pregnancy will be the best option for you, you have a plethora of methods to choose from when it comes to the "how." As our second President once famously said, "facts are stubborn things." (b) In the earliest stages of a pregnancy, you could find youself choosing from a "vacuuming cutterage" method where a powerful suction tube with a sharp cutting edge is inserted into the womb through the dilated cervix. The suction then dismembers the body of the developing baby and tears the placenta from the wall of the uterus, sucking the contents into a collection bottle or you could go with a "dilation cutterage" where e cervix is dilated or stretched to permit the insertion of a loop shaped steel knife. The body of the baby is cut into pieces and removed and the placenta is scraped off the uterine wall. If the last few sentences made you squirm on your seat then may I suggest thinking twice before donating to Susan G. Komen? For those of you that didn't even blink....check your pulse.
Over the last 24 hours we have seen the Susan G. Komen foundation denounce their funding of grants for Planned Parenthood and, as recently as this morning, we have seen them retract their decision and couple up with America's largest abortion provider once again. (c)“We want to apologize to the American public for recent decisions that cast doubt upon our commitment to our mission of saving women’s lives,” president and founder Nancy Brinker said in a statement today. “We have been distressed at the presumption that the changes made to our funding criteria were done for political reasons or to specifically penalize Planned Parenthood. They were not.” I find it interesting that Ms.Brinker would even have the nerve to try to attempt the last part of the statement with the expectation of being taken seriously. I don't see people of faith cheering over this and I certainly don't see people with any resemblance of a moral compass jumping for joy. To try to write this off as anything other than politically motivated would be extremely offensive to the American people who have watched this charade unfold. (d) I also find it interesting to see how, after denouncing their grants to Planned Parenthood, donations to Susan G. Komen were up by 4% following the hours after the annoucement. All of these donations were gladly and shamelessly accepted. It's a pity to see how many big hearted people were swept under the rug all because they tried to reward a good thing.
To add insult to injury, as soon as the Komen foundation made the announcement that they were no longer partnering up with Planned Parenthood, the donations to Planned Parenthood started to pour in with Michael Bloomberg matching every donation up to $250,000.(e) It was reported that Planned Parenthood had raised over $680,000 just over the course of 24 hours which well made up for the same dollar amount *$680,000* that the Susan G. Komen foundation gave them last year. This seems to be the most troubling aspect of the story because clearly the gap has been filled and there was no need to go back on their decision and turn a blind eye to all of the people who stood up for life and donated to them in the hours before the retraction.
In conclusion, I think it's safe to say that I will never donate another dime to the Susan G. Komen foundation and for good reason! I will stand by my word and my conviction. Please folks, I urge you not to go through life being a Nancy Brinker....where you waiver back and forth and teeter on the edge of a fine line. Be hot, be cold but don't be lukewarm. I thank you for reading this and as a strong supporter of truly helping women with breast cancer and the cause in general I have included a list of alternative places you can look into for donating. Be well and God bless!

Oompa Loompa Doopidie Doo I got another puzzle for you...
For the first time since I have started "blogging" I have gone weeks without writing a blog. The reason for this is mostly due to how depressing the political climate in this country has been and continues to be. Sometimes you just need to catch your breath and not reflect on any of it any more than you already have to but I am choosing to start writing again because I am starting to see glimmers of hope emerging from the people of this nation. I will start this blog on a rather negative note but I will end it on a positive one..for those of you who can appreciate both :) This weekend has been comical for our nation really. We have all of these talks about raising the debt ceiling/not raising the debt ceiling and what gets accomplished? The largest increase in the debt limit in United States history. The Republicans failed again. Given Boehner's track record of not having a spine I called this one for weeks. So why was this plan such an abysmal failure you ask? Well, let's take a look!
When the Boehner plan was scored by the Congressional Budget Office it appeared to fall short of its many promises. Sound familiar? "Pledge to America" anyone? It seems as though Boehner has gotten used to "falling short" ever since the midterm elections last November! Why, it was only a few months ago back in April when Boehner made a deal with the Democrats in the eleventh hour that called for $33 billion in spending cuts that didn't even make a dent in the deficit! Even back then we were being told by Boehner and his clan that it was the "best deal" we could get. Boehner went on a bunch of talk shows afterward to assure the American people who were beginning to lose faith in him that the next budget talks would be over "trillions" and not billions. Can anyone tell me what the amount of so-called "cuts" in Boehner's plan turned out to be this time around? Hold your breath....$1 billion for the next year . How revolutionary! His plan also included a vote on a balanced- budget amendment with a committee chosen by Boehner himself bypassing any state rights. This is the same plan that all Conservatives were supposed to praise and get behind. I say take that plan and shove it.
I was really unimpressed with the way the media and the elitists on the right treated this whole debt ceiling issue. Things got very ugly and names like "hobbits" were being directed at people who didn't support the Boehner plan by some of the very same people that helped destroy this economy and, more specifically, by useless RINOs that don't make for very good Presidential candidates. We have talking inflated heads like Laura Ingraham cheerleading for Boehner and calling the Tea Party out for making Boehner look "bad" or "weak." Newsflash! The only person that made Boehner and the Republicans that stood by him look weak is BOEHNER and those Republicans. What? Are we supposed to just go along with a plan that fails and stand by our man because he is supposedly "our man?" Give me a break! Boehner has been weak from the get-go! I'm sick of sell-outs and hypocrites like Laura Ingraham trying to tell us that Obama's plan went through today only because the Tea Party and those who opposed Boehner's plan sabotaged some wonderful, nonexistent opportunity. Don't let them sell you that! It's amazing to me to see these people forget who it was that got these goons elected in November! The people who are being demonized in the elitist media are the same people who buy books, listen to shows and VOTE. Let's see how well any of them do without us! So save the condescending talk for people like us who refuse to buy into that heap of manure that Boehner called a budget plan. We need some real leaders here!
In conclusion, a few weeks ago I was in a horribly bitter state thinking that the majority of people living in America would much rather sit down to watch the newest episode of 'Glee' or 'American Idol' than care about what's being done to their country. While I do agree that we have plenty of drones in our society I can also say that we have many courageous, in-the-know patriots that are keeping a close eye on things and are ready to help advance the cause of freedom. I was reminded of that over the weekend seeing the outrage over the mediocrity performances by those we stood so firmly behind in November. The American people are not ready to give up. We are not ready to get fooled again. So So hobbits unite! If hard working American people are now being labeled as hobbits then I think it's safe to say that we can sum up the political circus in Washington with an arrogant Obama being depicted as Willy Wonka and Boehner & friends have all turned into oompa loompas....the only problem with that? We're the golden geese.

Islamic monster Osama Bin Laden is finally dead.
At 7:30 PM PST last night, May 1st 2011, President Obama came out to announce to the world that Osama Bin Laden had been killed by a small group of American special op forces. The news brought much relief for America and for most people in other countries who have been personally affected by this mad man's acts of terrorism all across the world. It was our chance to dance in the streets over the demise of this monster. The news marked a massive victory in the war on terror and the biggest break in the global pursuit to capture bin Laden.
Obama's speech last night seemed to be appropriate enough for the occasion however I found a few major faults with it. First of all, no one is explaining how bin Laden managed to hide out in a $1 million dollar compound in Abbottabad,Pakistan just 50 miles from Pakistan's capital of Islamabad. It seems as though Pakistan is more of a problem rather than a solution. His massive compound definitely stood out in the town and it was in the very heart of of Pakistan's military establishment with the prestige Pakistan Military Academy located just a mile away from the hide out. This news seems to be even more troubling after reading the article posted on WashingtonTimes.com this morning stating how the former Pakistani President, Pervez Musharraf, is now accusing the United States of violating Pakistan's sovereignty by sending in special forces to kill bin Laden. Excuse me but shouldn't you be thanking us for taking out the trash? Not only are we eliminating terrorist scum but we're also helping your country financially and militarily. Anything other than a "thank you" is a complete slap in the face and at this point I have no idea why we're helping the very same people who hold no consideration for the safety of our country whatsoever and who now have a lot of questions to answer...especially with these new reports of Pakistan possibly protecting and harboring bin Laden.
Another major detail omitted from Obama's speech last night was the realization that if enhanced interrogation techniques had not been used at CIA prisons and Guantanamo Bay, as Obama once requested, then the capture and killing of bin Laden may not have ever been possible. We found bin Laden through a courier whose name was unknown until 2007. The critical details were given by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks and the same pile of excrement personally responsible for beheading U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl back in 2003. The CIA got similar information from Mohammed's successor, Abu Faraj al-Libi. Obama closed the prison system that got us the very same critical information we needed in order to track down the most notorious terrorist in modern history. This just goes to show that enhanced interrogation techniques do in fact work and help save lives. Obama was too caught up in making this victory his own last night that he forgot to give credit where credit is due.
Finally, my last complaint with last nights speech was over President Obama failing to thank former President George W. Bush who deserved some kind of positive recognition for launching forces against al-Qaida and the Taliban in 2001. It was also President Bush who sanctioned those so-called "harsh" interrogation techniques talked about in the previous paragraph that led to the successful take down of bin Laden. President Obama called for unity again all while completely snubbing his Republican predecessor. I guess a certain element of class fails to exist within Obama's idea of "unity." Also, why is the White House stressing the issue of bin Laden's burial saying how they buried him "in accordance with Islamic practice. bin Laden was washed and wrapped in a white sheet before buried at sea." Who cares! Wrap him up in dookie and feed him to the fish. That kind of political correctness completely sours a victory like this.
Before I wrap this up I would like to leave on a good note by thanking all of our brave men and women who continue to fight every day to keep us safe and to keep justice alive. You are the lifeblood of this country and this victory belongs to you. Thank you.

The weeping weiner of the House strikes again!
I have been waiting a few days to write this since I have been sitting back and observing all of the chatter surrounding it. It has been a week now since John Boehner caved into a "budget" deal with Obama and the Democrats and if you saw the charade that went down last Friday you'll know why I am so ticked off here. John Boehner basically made a deal with the Democrats in the eleventh hour, last minute, for $33 billion in spending cuts which doesn't even make a dent in the deficit! Somehow we still managed to hear all of these talking heads praising John Boehner and the Republicans over the week saying how we only have the house and not the Senate and yada yada yada I'm so sick of it! Some hosts even decided to have Boehner on the show to reassure us all how they did the best they could. The soft ball questions being thrown at him was like watching an interview with Obama on MSNBC where the only questions asked are ones like "what color is your underwear" or "what are you doing for Valentine's Day?" Why are we sitting around praising these creeps for barely getting anything accomplished and NOT standing up for the American people? Why are we letting it slide? I'm really getting tired of this. I'm tired of people telling me "oh give him a break!" A BREAK? He's a failure! A dud! He should resign but he doesn't have enough decency to do it. Chuck Schumer, and it pains me to say this, but he was right last week when he said that Boehner is putting on a very different face publicly then what he's doing and saying in private.
The bipartisan deal struck late Friday falls short of the Republican campaign pledge to cut $100 billion in fiscal spending for the year 201 1and the Congressional Budget Office just released a report showing that the package only saves $352 million from accounts this year...a far cry from the supposed $33 billion. Oh but somehow we're supposed to believe that the next "cuts" to be discussed are going to be over trillions? Yea, go sell that to the same crowd who believe in "man-made global warming." After the deal, Boehner told the Hill the agreement was "as good a deal as we could get." As good a deal as who could get? A feckless, spineless leader like you? Give me a break! !The Republicans reneged on their promise. They caved because they didn't want to be labeled as those "mean-spirited Republicans." If they just would have stood their ground and followed through on all of their pledges then they could have eventually paved the way for even bigger cuts and showed the American people that they were serious about defeating Obama's radical agenda. This was a huge let down!
There are so many snakes out there and, you know I might get some flack for saying this but I don't care because I never really had my eye on her as a potential viable candidate for 2012, but even Michele Bachmann signed off on this deal for these supposed "budget cuts" and no one who supports her really saw that one coming! Take the time to do your research on these people to make a good decision come 2012. Don't just go off of what you hear! This is no time to play around. The federal deficit in the month of March alone is estimated to be $189 billion... dramatically more than the full-year cuts that Obama signed into effect today. These people are fighting over some puny numbers and here are the Republicans standing around giving each other slaps on the butt thinking they rock and saying "good game!" Folks, we don't have time for this!
I think it's safe to say that I'm pretty fed up here. I even said that I was willing to bet that Boehner would lie down and take the deal and lo and behold, he did. It it just so disappointing because everyone thought that 2010 was a re-defining election and then these creeps get in and this is what they end up accomplishing? I've said it before and I will say it again, John Boehner is a coward! I had his number a long time ago. And if you're one of these fools who is still buying into this then you need your head examined. Gullible is written on your ceiling.

Burning a Qur'an never killed anyone...but the people who believe in it have.
On Friday, April 1st, 10 UN workers in Afghanistan were killed with 2 being beheaded by barbaric Muslims after the March 20th burning of the Qur'an by a U.S. Florida preacher. In addition to that, 10 more people were killed over the weekend and 2 United States Military members were killed by an Afghan policeman just yesterday. Now all of the blame is being put on this one little pastor. Not only am I outraged over this but I am embarrassed as well...not in the same way that most of the drones living in my country are...this is different and I'll explain.
I know this is going to seem so "controversial" but you know what? who cares! The Bible and morals are now deemed to be controversial so I really could care less what sits well with people anymore. I don't need to find my validation by appealing to the "politically correct" crowd. Condemning Pastor Jones without condemning the actual terrorists who carried out these attacks is nothing short of a cowardly cop-out. Anyone with access to a lighter and Qur'an can burn the Qur'an. Honestly, I'd prefer to put it to better use by using it as toilet paper but I digress, I think that when we have General Petraeus and Robert Gates coming out to condemn this preacher and not the actual creeps who carried out these attacks then we have a major problem that goes beyond this guy burning the Qur'an. Come on folks, do we even know who we are fighting here? Oh I know I know, It's "the war on terror" because if we gave the enemy an actual name and identified it then we couldn't go beating around the bush with all of this politically correct crap!
People who want to categorize Islam into 2 different sects "The Radicals" and the "Non Radicals" amuse me because anyone who reads the Qur'an will know that if you AREN'T "radical" over it then you are not fully practicing the religion because the religion calls for you to be pretty darn radical! I mean come on, Muhammed was a warrior himself who killed 600-800 people... by beheading most of them mind you. These people who carry out these atrocities around the world in modern times are just following what their religion tells them to do. They want to be more like Muhammed and if you don't understand what I am saying here then just please do some research on who Muhammed was and what he was like. If Islam is so "peaceful" then how come the slaughter that occurred in Afghanistan over the weekend took place right after prayer got out? There's the religion of "peace" in full display! Over a thousand protesters had flooded into the streets of the city after Friday prayers and three hours of violence broke out. Three hours of violence after prayer service! Well gee, how many "peaceful" people do you know come out of Church looking to kill someone? I'm sorry but my God doesn't teach me to kill. In fact, Jesus was the exact opposite of Muhammed. Which is why it's so funny when people try to compare Christianity to Islam saying how "oh, they are both Abrahamic faiths" and all of this nonsense...how could you ever compare the two? TAKE A LOOK AROUND THE WORLD!
The desecration at a small U.S. church has outraged Muslims worldwide, and in Afghanistan many of the demonstrations have turned into deadly riots. Protests in the north and south in recent days have killed 20 people. All over this Qu'ran burning. You know what? Too bad! Suck it up you barbarians! You idiots go out and kill people when someone disgraces your religion? What are you trying to prove? That people thinking all of you are terrorists would be correct? idiots. They can't even fake decency. And how many times have they desecrated on our flag and the Bible? Do we go out and kill people everytime that happens? No! They do that ALL THE TIME! BUT then ONE pastor goes out to burn a Qur'an and this is how they behave? These are the same people who were celebrating in the streets when the Twin Towers went down! These are the same people who stomp and defecate on our flag. These are the same people who chant "Death to America" in the streets! Heck, just this weekend these people were shouting for U.S. troops to leave and burning an effigy of President Barack Obama before dispersing. They then went on to burn tires for about an hour...oh boy, now they are contributing to "global warming!" You libs should be all wound up!
What sickens me the most about this situation is the statement that was issued by General Petraeus and the top NATO civilian representative in Afghanistan Mark Sedwill. The release stated "We condemn, in particular, the action of an individual in the United States who recently burned the Holy Qur'an." In particular? Why don't they CONDEMN the murderers?! "The Holy Qur'an." You know I'm so angry, I can barely go on with this story because it's just so aggravating. We have our generals calling the very book that is causing so much death and destruction around the world... and the very book that is killing so many of our men, here they are glorifying it by calling it the Holy Qur'an. Makes me want to vomit!
Continuing the savage cycle of violence, two members of our military were shot dead at a border check post in the northern province of Faryab where they were heading to instruct newly recruited Afghan police personnel. See, this is a problem. We arm these people just like how we're arming Pakistan and fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with Al Qaeda in Libya. Oh, excuse me, not Al Qaeda but "Al Qaeda" elements *rolls eyes* Then their President, Karzai, comes out to condemn Pastor Jones for provoking these barbarians to kill our military members when he should be condemning these dastardly attacks and thanking his lucky stars that we're even helping his run down, toilet-bowl of a country.
So, in conclusion, to sum it all up we have 20 people who died over the weekend, protesters waving Taliban flags and shouting "Death to America," burning cars, smashing shops and ransacking a high school for girls. These people are like rabid animals. It really is sickening. And this is what we're trying to be sympathetic to? We don't want to hurt their feelings? and for what? Them to infiltrate our government and way of life? I don't think so. I know what these people are all about. I don't need to beat around the bush out of ignorance or fear...I know all about their little "Holy Qur'an" I have a copy right here. Don't try and feed me your CAIR generated nonsense. I know all about your taqiyyah....your "holy deception." I will not be one of these politically correct drones leading myself into my own demise. As far as the burning goes, I can't believe that one pastor with a congregation of less than 50 people can cause such a raucous but you know what? If defecating on the American flag right here in America can be considered "freedom of Speech" then so should burning the Qur'an! Get over it.

Three year anniversary! Woo hoo!
"What therefore God has joined together, do not let man put asunder." -Mark 10:9
Today I am going to take a much needed and nice little break from discussing the issues plaguing our nation to talk about something that brings me joy, fulfillment and a safe haven from the storm...my marriage. It was just three years ago today when I was taking an oath before God Almighty to love and honor my husband in sickness and in health. I have never been more convinced that marriage was one of the best things to have happened to me right along with the birth of my daughter and I find it to be of no coincidence that God gave me such an amazing partner to share my life with after accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
I am choosing to bare some of these personal thoughts with you guys because I see a lot of miserable, messed up lonely people in this world and I can't tell you how blessed I am to have been given such an amazing partner at such a young age... but the truth is I had nothing to do with any of it. There wasn't any special thing I did to deserve a wonderful marriage and such a beautiful little family...heck, I wasn't even looking for a mate but God knew what I wanted and He truly surpassed, as His word promises in Ephesians 3:20, anything I have ever asked for or ever wanted. My marriage would never work without Him. I know how the world tries to tell you that you can be a good person without God, which is the exact opposite of what the Bible tells us since we all fall short of the glory but, nevertheless, people still buy into this notion of thinking that it's easier to surrender to the world than it would be to surrender to the One that made you and knows every hair on your head. The One who has plans to prosper you and not to harm you. I was once apart of that way of thinking and I can honestly say with complete certainty that the world sells a lie.
After three years of being married to the love of my life I am excited to see what God has in store for us next.Sure, marriage is definitely difficult and, like with anything worthwhile, takes work but God makes it all possible. I love you Dennis. Thank you for being a wonderful husband, father and friend.
